Ryan Paton

Ryan was born on Long Island (Smithtown, NY), but was raised in Coral Springs, FL. After High School (JP Taravella), Ryan attended the University of South Florida where he studied Political Science and worked as a Life Guard in the off season. While in school, Ryan started working part time at Mortgage Approval Group and eventually accepted a full time position in 2001. Up to 2007, Ryan served as Vice President of MAG where he oversaw an office of 15 Loan Officers. In May of 2008, Ryan established Capitol Lending Group.
Ryan is also Co-Founder and Director of Operations for Honor Flight South Florida, which flies our local WWII Veterans to Washington DC (free of charge) to visit the Memorial that was built in their honor.
Peter Scaduto

Peter Scaduto was born and raised on Long Island, NY. He graduated from Chaminade High School and later studied Business Management at State University of New York at New Paltz. After graduation he accepted a job with The Home Depot Inc. as a manager in training and relocated to Southwest Florida. He spent 10 1/2 years in management at various stores in the Northeast and South Florida.
In 2005, he accepted a position as General Manager of a wealth management firm. Seeing the mortgage needs of clients, Pete obtained his mortgage loan originator license in 2010 with Capitol Lending Group, Inc. By using his strong financial services background, Pete has all of the tools needed to provide sound analysis of clients mortgage needs.
Currently, Pete serves as Vice President of Operations for Capitol Lending Group, Inc. He continues to look for new efficient ways of providing service to our clients and creating systems to aid in the ease of processing client transactions.
Justin Cecere

Justin joined Capitol Lending group in January 2012. Prior to that Justin served as the managing broker for Cecere Realty Group, LLC. In Coral Springs, Florida. Licensed in Real Estate since 2004, Justin brings a wealth of real estate knowledge to the team. Justin is a native Floridian and alumni of the University of Florida.
Away from the office Justin enjoys spending time with his family. He is married to his high school sweetheart Jacki with whom he has 2 children.
Justin is a member of the Great Fort Lauderdale, State of Florida & National Association of Realtors.
Mary Sayan
Office Manager
Mary Sayan was born and raised in Lima, Peru. Mary graduated with a degree in Architecture from Unife (University in Peru). In 1999 she moved to Florida and worked in two different Architectural firms. In 2004 she started her career in the mortgage industry as a loan processor where she worked for 8 years. In 2013 Mary became Office Manager at Capitol Lending Group. Mary is fluent in Spanish and English, and treats every client as though they are family. When she is not working, Mary enjoys spending time with her husband Eddie and entertaining with family and friends.
Rusty Shaw
Loan Originator
Rusty is a native Floridian who was born in Broward County, raised in Coral Springs and now resides in Boynton Beach with his family. He realized early that his calling was to serve which he has accomplished in three arenas. The first was joining the Boy Scouts as a youngster and achieving the coveted rank of Eagle Scout. The second was becoming a firefighter at the age of 18 and finally he became a military veteran by joining the Armed Forces which lead him to be a Blackhawk helicopter crew chief in the Air Force and included an overseas tour in Iraq.
Rusty’s early firefighting experience led to his career choice and, as such, he holds the rank of Captain within the Fire Department. In addition to him being a state certified firefighter and paramedic, he is air rescue and scuba rescue diver qualified and is currently serving in the position of Venom Officer. Furthermore, he is driven by his strong faith and to this end, is extremely active in his church.
Rusty enthusiastically joined the Capitol Leading Group with the vision of being able to serve his fellow veterans. Rusty’s greatest desire is to go above and beyond for veterans as they have gone above and beyond for our country.
Ellen Backof
Client Services Manager
After graduating from the University of Florida, Ellen began a career in computer and retail marketing and advertising. With an interest in real estate, she moved into mortgage lending gaining over 10 years experience in the industry. Ellen believes that the best compliment is a repeat client or referral. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
